Physical assessment: evidence your clients can audit

Declared data gets you a report. Verified on-site data gets you through your customers' audits, their CSRD assurance and their supplier approval gates.

At some point, self-declaration stops being enough. Your clients' assurance providers, their CSRD auditors and their procurement compliance teams all ask the same question: what physical evidence supports this number? A questionnaire answer, however confident, is not evidence.

Our physical assessment closes that gap. We conduct on-site verification at the supplier facilities that matter, and where formal third-party certification is required we work with internationally recognised verification bodies such as Bureau Veritas, so the resulting evidence pack is accepted by your customers rather than debated with them.

    What you get

    On-site verification report

Physical inspection of energy systems, meters, production records, waste and water flows, chemical storage and worker conditions, with photographic and documentary evidence.

    Data reconciliation

Declared figures reconciled against utility invoices, meter readings and production output — the step that catches most reporting errors before your client does.

    Third-party verification pathway

Where a formal certificate is required, the assessment is structured so an internationally recognised body such as Bureau Veritas can verify or certify without redoing the groundwork.

    Client-ready evidence pack

A structured dossier mapped to what your customers ask for: CSRD assurance, CBAM declarations, customer supplier audits and RFQ compliance annexes.

    Corrective action plan

Non-conformities ranked by severity with deadlines, owners and re-verification dates — closure tracked, not just listed.

    Who this is for

    • Suppliers under audit pressure from European and North American customers
    • Companies whose Scope 3 or CBAM figures must withstand limited or reasonable assurance
    • Brands whose supplier-declared data has already been challenged once
    • Manufacturers preparing for customer supplier-approval or requalification audits

    How we work

    1

    Target the sites

We select the facilities where emission mass, client scrutiny or data weakness makes physical verification worth its cost.

    2

    Assess on site

Our assessors visit in the local language, follow the physical flows rather than the paperwork, and reconcile every material figure against primary evidence.

    3

    Verify with a third party

Where a certificate is required, an internationally recognised verification body performs the formal verification on the prepared evidence base.

    4

    Close and re-verify

Corrective actions are tracked to closure and re-checked at the next cycle, so the evidence stays current when your client asks again.
