L'Australie impose la publication climat (norme AASB S2) via le Corporations Act. Le groupe 1 a commencé avec les exercices ouverts au 1er janvier 2025, le groupe 2 au 1er juillet 2026, le groupe 3 au 1er juillet 2027. Le scope 3 est dû dès la 2e année. Un relèvement des seuils du groupe 3 est proposé.

Ce que la loi exige

• Prepare an annual sustainability report with climate statements under AASB S2
• Disclose Scope 1-2, then Scope 3 from second year, with scenario analysis
• Obtain assurance, limited first, reasonable by 1 Jul 2030 (options to delay to 2035)
• Lodge within 3 or 4 months of year end with directors' declaration

Sanctions

Corporations Act civil penalties apply. Modified liability until FY starting 2027 for Scope 3, scenarios, transition plans: only ASIC can act.
